First Beach Vacation

Katelyn and I just returned from Southern California where we played on the beach for 4 days! It was Katelyn's first time on a plane and on the beach. She did great! I was a little worried about her being scared of flying (I, myself, am not a fan) or not wanting to stay in her seat, but she was an angel! It was also Katelyn's first time away from Daddy for more than 24 hours (I have yet to leave her and she's almost 2!) He had a hard time with this and is very happy we're home. We went with my parents and stayed with family friends. It was a wonderful vacation. Katelyn loved the ocean and the sand and I loved the shopping and the sun! Thanks to my mom for helping out so much with Katelyn so that I could have a little bit of relaxation. Now back to reality... We're all looking forward to fall and the cooler weather.
